The Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz is a smaller-scale aquarium where you can learn about ongoing research, tour exhibit halls, and meet animals in touch tanks.
Ano Nuevo State Park is one of the few places on earth you can can closely observe northern elephant seals. On recent field trips there our volunteer naturalists have also seen sea otters and coyotes.
